After returning to Sparta, Trent worked in various mechanical roles, including driving a semi-truck, a milk truck, and as a diesel mechanic. His skills and hard work led him to become a supervisor at Fort McCoy, where he continued to serve his community with pride.
A passionate athlete, Trent was a standout in track and cross-country during high school, earning a four-year varsity letter in track. He enjoyed participating in 5K races with his family, along with cross-country ski races. He also cherished his time spent fishing, hunting, and his love for RC airplanes. Above all, Trent's greatest joy in life came from his grandchildren, who adored him deeply.
