Trevor J Thurston

Trevor J. Thurston, 26, of Cataract, died Friday, June 7, 2024 at his home. He was born in Sparta to Andrew and Laurie (Biermann) Thurston. He grew up in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School in 2016.

Trevor began his welding career while still in high school, taking part in WWTC welding course his senior year. He worked for Nelson Welding, D&S Welding and most recently was working for S&S Cycling in La Crosse.

Trevor enjoyed hunting and fishing, kayaking, and Brewer games.

Trevor is survived by his parents, Laurie (Jim Kuehl) Thurston of Neillsville, WI and Andrew (Renee) Thurston of Cataract; sister, Kelsey (Austin) Morrell of Sparta; brother, James Thurston of Cataract; maternal grandparents, Duane (Helen) Johnson of Prentice, WI; paternal grandmother, Mary Thurston of cataract; uncles, David (Jessica) Thurston of Cataract and William Biermann Jr. of Prentice; step grandparents, Clarence and Sue Justin of Sparta, and Teresa Consolvo of Sarasota, FL; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Thurston.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 p.m. until. 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the home of Andy and Renee Thurston, 1093 Amber Road, Black River Falls. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
