Victoria L Kranz

Victoria L. Kranz, 56, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026.  Born December 3, 1969 in Lacrosse, WI, Tori grew up in West Salem, where she graduated from West Salem High School.

In 1991, she had her son Zachery and moved to Cataract shortly thereafter. She worked at Northern Engraving, R & R Jones Dairy (the family farm), Annies Pretzels, and Walmart in Sparta then Black River Falls, where she became an optician. In 2016 She married Paul Kranz. She loved working at Walmart and all the people she met there. Her passions were reading books, church, her pet cows and horse, and all of her fur babies.

She is survived by her mother, Rita Barenthin; stepmother, Effie Piper; husband, Paul Kranz; son, Zachery (Brittney) Piper; grandchildren, Brooke Thompson and Paisley Sims; stepdaughter, Jasmine Kranz; sisters, Lenore (Leif) Hanewold and Stacey (Tom) Ziegelbauer; niece, Justine (Brandon) Donart; nephew, Derrik (Kaci) Hanewold and their families; step-niece, Avery Kranz; brothers-in-law, Scott Kranz and Peter Kranz; and countless friends and coworkers that were like family.

Tori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roger and Ruth Jones; father, Wayne Piper; stepfather, Max Barenthin; and in-laws, Bernard Kranz and Paulette Kranz.

She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Cataract United Methodist Church, in Cataract, with Doug Moskonas officiating.

A Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026 and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
