The Lord has called our beloved Irishman and Patriot home- George W. Lundy, 90 passed away at his home on February 11, 2017. His military assignments took him to Hawaii, The Marshall Islands, Iwo Jima, Japan, Panama, and Korea. He served in World War II, The Korean War, and Vietnam. George married Phyllis Ann Thurston on January 26, 1952. During their 50 years of marriage they traveled extensively living in Turkey, Germany, Missouri, Illinois, and Texas before making Sparta their home in 1966. George loved his country and would be seen sporting the American Flag either on his shirt or lapel.
